Ledger One Terms of Service

Last updated: March 5, 2025

Ledger One is SMB Silver Certified and upholds the full GDPR right of erasure. We build for finance teams who expect responsible data stewardship.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Ledger One, our APIs, or any related services you agree to this Terms of Service agreement. If you are acting on behalf of an organization you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that entity.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for safeguarding credentials, configuring role-based access, and ensuring that only authorized team members interact with sensitive data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the platform.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Invoices are due within the stated payment terms. Failure to pay may result in service limitation or suspension. Pricing changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.

Data ownership and deletion

You retain ownership of the data you import or create inside Ledger One. Upon written request to privacy@ledger.one we will remove or export customer data in accordance with applicable law, including the GDPR right of data erasure. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule; removal requests extend to those backups as technically feasible.

Acceptable use

You may not reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the platform, attempt to breach security controls, or use Ledger One to process unlawful content. Suspected abuse will trigger investigation and may lead to immediate suspension.

Service changes and availability

We may update functionality, issue patches, or deprecate features when necessary. Planned downtime will be announced in advance via status.ledger.one. Emergency maintenance may occur to protect the service and your data.

Liability

Ledger One is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties and limit overall liability to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding a claim. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, unless superseded by mandatory local law. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Wilmington, Delaware, except where prohibited.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@ledger.one. Security incidents should be reported to security@ledger.one.
