Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including account details, billing information, and content stored in the platform. We also capture diagnostic and usage data to secure and improve the service.
- Account metadata such as name, email, and company.
- Financial records and attachments that you upload or sync.
- Support communications, product feedback, and survey results.
- Technical telemetry such as IP addresses, device identifiers, and browser data.
How we use information
We process data to operate, secure, and maintain Ledger One, specifically to:
- Authenticate users and provide the requested services.
- Deliver customer support and account communications.
- Monitor system stability, detect fraud, and prevent abuse.
- Improve product experiences and inform roadmap decisions.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell personal information. We share limited data with carefully vetted subprocessors who provide hosting, email delivery, payments, analytics, and customer support tooling. Each partner is bound by confidentiality and data processing agreements that mirror our privacy standards.
Your rights and choices
Individuals in the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of their personal data. To exercise any of these rights, or to request full erasure under GDPR “right to be forgotten” rules, email privacy@ledger.one. We verify requests and respond within applicable statutory timelines.
Data retention and deletion
We retain customer content for the duration of an active subscription and delete or anonymize it after the account is closed, subject to legal obligations. Backup archives roll off within 30 days. Upon verified deletion requests, we apply removal workflows across production systems and backups.
International data transfers
Ledger One primarily stores data in the United States using SOC 2 audited infrastructure. If we transfer information across borders we rely on standard contractual clauses or other approved safeguards to ensure adequate protection.
Children's privacy
Ledger One is not directed to individuals under 16 years old and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover such information we will delete it immediately.
